BC lift recieved the prestigious Danish Design Prize for Internal Drive
The Danish Design Centre awards the best new Danish design with the Danish Design Prize 2008/09.
The prizes were awarded November 5th 2008 by HRH The Crown Prince at The Danish Design Centre.
The jury says:
- Internal Drive is an elegant solution compared with what else is available in the market for this type of product.
A reassuring design, which does not seem obtrusive but is visually appealing. The chair lift acts as a banister when it is not in use and elegantly wraps around corners. A strong point is that the lift can be installed in existing buildings, which makes it a very flexible product. The aluminium profiles conceal the cables and also make the product hygienic and protect the interior mechanisms.
